How to Style: The Nike x sacai LDWaffle

In May of 2019, the first two additions of the Nike x sacai LDWaffle seemingly exploded onto everyone's radar and quickly took the sneaker world by storm. Since that point, we've seen a spate of Nike x Sacai collaborations and in turn, more LDWaffles have arrived.

From the recent bright and bold CLOT x sacai x Nike LDWaffle to the sleek and stylish fragment design x sacai x Nike LDWaffle, there's a range of colourways already on offer, and things aren't slowing down.

Because of the number of LDWaffles available, we thought we'd answer a question asked by a lot of people - how do you actually style them? To answer this, we've opened our wardrobes and tapped our product specialists right here at The Sole Supplier to bring you the latest tricks, tips and advice to get your fits looking as good as your kicks!

For our first outfit, we've kept things bright and colourful with an array of complimentary tones, whilst still aiming for a regular fitted silhouette. On the upper portion, we've layered a Nike x NOCTA yellow hoodie with a bright varsity jacket to create a look perfect for the cooler months of the year. Blue and yellow tones work in unison to match the flair of the shoes, while neutral pops of white and black help hold things together.

On the lower portion, a light wash pair of jeans complement the blue mesh upper portion of the shoes, while a white outer stitch keeps things fresh. If you're unsure about utilising too much colour in your fits, shades of white, grey and navy will also pair well with each of the tones features on the "Daybreak Blue".

For our second edition, we're rocking the highly sought after CLOT x sacai x NIKE LDWaffle with a nice relaxed fit, perfect for those off duty occasions. On the upper body, we've kept things simple with a NikeLab Fleece Hoodie in a complementary orange tint. Contrasting clean white hues on both the Nike Swoosh and the hooded drawstring work in unison with both the pants and the off white detailing on the shoes.

Keeping with the relaxed theme, the lower portion of the fit sports another NikeLab piece in the form of the fleece joggers. These joggers come equipped with a neutral "light bone" hue, making them perfect for pairing with a range of colours and styles. Again, if you're unsure about your colour use, this particular pair of Nike x sacais will work perfect with any black or grey tones and hues, so there are always options.

Your fits don't always have to be complicated, and this get-up paired with the fragment design x sacai x Nike LDWaffle Grey White simply proves that. This leisurely look comes equipped with spring and summer in mind and utilises basic neutral tones to draw attention straight to your feet. On the upper body, we've used a simple white T-Shirt and paired it with a light chain/pendant for small details.

The bottom of the fit boasts a grey pair of Nike joggers complete with an allover swoosh logo print in a contrasting white tone. These joggers are cuffed at the ankle to provide a slim taper that further accentuates the shoes as the highlight of the fit. As the shoes themselves boast a neutral colourway, the options for adding some colour into this fit are basically endless! For starters, we recommend a classic coloured bomber or track jacket.

For our final fit, we're rocking the timeless fragment design x sacai x Nike LDWaffle "Navy Black" on the feet alongside a monochromatic styled look. Monochromatic looks are ideal for those winter months and look great when you keep things clean and uniformed. On the upper portion of this fit, we've utilised a navy Nike Heritage Cord Track Top alongside a navy T-Shirt of a similar hue. Around the neck, we've added a simple silver chain to break up these two pieces and some additional layers.

On the lower portion of the fit, we've opted for a navy pair of Nike tracksuit bottoms complete with a tapered fit and a zip bottom to draw attention to the shoes and lower portion. If navy isn't your colour usually you can pair this shoe with a massive range of colours including neutrals such as grey and white and other tones like orange, red and darker greens. We would likely advise staying away from black as there might be a tonal clash, but after all, rules are made to be broken.
