With Wimbledon currently in session, few athletes are attracting the attention of the press more than Australian superstar Nick Kyrgios. After spitting toward the crowd, yelling at an umpire, and claiming a line judge is a "snitch," Kyrgios has found himself in hot water after wearing a pair of red and white Air Jordan 1s during his post-match interview.

While this might seem to some like a minor infraction, Wimbledon's somewhat outdated rules strictly note that players must wear all white while on the court at the historic event.

When pressed by a BBC reporter about the incident, Nick Kyrgios quickly retorted "Because I do what I want," sparking the interviewer to dig a little bit deeper and ask if the athlete thinks he's above the rules. Kyrgios hit back saying, "well, I just like wearing my Jordans" and "I'll wear some triple whites tomorrow."

The athlete's nonchalant attitude has sparked rage from tennis purists online, with many calling for Kyrgios to be fined. Regardless of the outcome, it's quite clear at this point Nick Kyrgios clearly couldn't care less. Catch the full interview below.
