It's not often many of us get to bump shoulders with a legend in the game, but thanks to END. Talks, that became a reality for many attendees in London last night. In celebration of his latest New Balance 990v6 "Lapis Lazuli" silhouette, Action Bronson took to END. Clothing's Soho store to give a talk about all things Bronsolino.
Upon entry, attendees were greeted with a spread courtesy of Nouveau Wines and Bodega Bay hard seltzer. Seen on the store's expansive shoe wall, guests could grab their first in-hand look at the "Lapis Lazuli" colourway, with many acknowledging just how good the silhouette looked in person.
After snacking down on salt beef bagels and getting firmly greased up on natural wine, the talk began. Playing host to Mr Baklava was Samutaro, a fashion, art and culture creative in charge of steering the conversation between Action's upbringings to the New Balance collaboration, cooking, art, fitness and beyond. Naturally, many were excited to hear the ins and outs of the creation behind the "Lapis Lazuli," with Action profoundly commenting, “I don’t give you extra laces, that’s how it needs to be,” when asked about the shoe's maximalist design.
After keeping the audience firmly engaged with a fair share of stories and witty one-liners, attendees were then presented with the opportunity to ask Action any burning questions they may have. During the Q&A, Action alluded to the release of a new album, further collaborative projects with New Balance, exhibitions of his art, and even the prospect of a London-based block party. If that wasn't enough, after the talk, the man himself even stuck around to take photos, sign books and shoes, then engage in conversation with fans.
As for the shoe itself, you can expect it to launch this Friday, directly from the END. Launches platform. So for those looking to purchase, make sure to get your raffle entry in before its release!
