With many excited about the upcoming Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 1906R, it seems everyone's favourite New York-based label is keen to move from strength to strength with this latest collection of apparel. Instalment 2 of Aimé Leon Dore's SS23 range features a diverse spectrum of contemporary streetwear, all showcased by those who make up the extended ALD family.
Included in the new World's Borough lookbook, we see designers, brand owners, musicians, artists, athletes, and New York natives, acting as a canvas for the new apparel. Included within the range itself, soccer jerseys, linen basketball shorts, patterned silk shirts, nylon tracksuits, and various knitwear silhouettes all arrive with a distinctive array of prints, patterns and finishes. Naturally, it wouldn't be an Aimé Leon Dore collection without an impressive scope of accessories to match. Collaborative painter caps bolster the brand's existing relationship with New Era, delivering that classic and revered New York Aesthetic, while bucket hats and beanies offer seasonal versatility.
From a footwear perspective, the Papia Boot and Taverna Loafer complement the existing New Balance offerings, delivering a number of styles suitable for any occasion. Instalment 2 of the Spring/Summer 2023 collection will be available exclusively at the Aimé Leon Dore concept store located at 61 Crosby Street, New York, NY, the Aimé Leon Dore London flagship store at 32 Broadwick St. London and on aimeleondore.com starting on April 28th, 2023.
