Inter Milan Shed Their Old Skin With This Nike 2021/22 Home Kit

Following Italy's monumental win of the Euro 2020 tournament at the weekend, it seems Italian football is set to be bigger than ever. Since this historic occasion, Nike aims to appeal to the masses and has unveiled the 2021/22 home kit for the top-flight Italian squad, Inter Milan.

For the unfamiliar, Inter Milan (or more simply Inter) are a prime Italian team with 19 Serie A wins under their belt. The club can normally be seen in a classic blue and black variation of stripes or zig-zag lines but instead, the team has ditched this look for a brand new snakeskin offering.

This sleek snakeskin look combines several pixilated hues of blue to form a blend of tones that stand out against the shades of black. The design is a nod to the Biscione, a coiled grass snake that stands as the symbol on the House of Visconti coat of arms and a historical symbol for the city. Alongside this, the signature Inter Milan logo, the Italian flag and the trademark Nike swoosh logo sit on the chest.
