Bad Bunny is back with adidas Originals for a new iteration of his ballet shoe.
The Puerto Rican artist’s adidas ballerina made its debut last year, dropping three initial colourways. Since then, Benito’s brought out other silhouettes – including his first signature sneaker the adidas BadBo1.0, which came out alongside his three Grammy wins this year – but his ballet shoe returns for the summer season.

The Bad Bunny x adidas Flamboyan is inspired (both in name and colour) by the red tree that serves as a strong cultural symbol for Puerto Rico. The shoe features a canvas base with suede overlays and satin collar in a red with white stripes colourway, with a lace toggle, a gum sole, a gold “Benito” stamp on the side, and external tags.
Based on the Taekwondo model from the ‘80s, the Ballerina Flamboyan takes inspiration from dance and martial arts shoes, a unisex fusion of the two.
The new release is also accompanied by a new video and editorial campaign featuring Bad Bunny teasing the Flamboyan.
The Bad Bunny x adidas Originals Ballerina Flamboyan drops today at NYC boutique All the Right, with a wider release on May 30th via the adidas Confirmed app and select retailers.
