Is a Balenciaga x Supreme Collaboration on the Horizon?

While most of the limelight at Balenciaga's SS23 show was taken by this year's most controversial man Kanye West, a few keen-eyed attendees spotted something a tad more out of the ordinary. Seen on the mud-splattered runway, one model donned a Balenciaga Box Logo T-shirt, perhaps paying homage to none other than New York skate imprint Supreme. Now some time on, and the rumour mill is once again in action with a collaboration between the two fashion giants apparently confirmed for Spring 2023.

This upcoming collection has been confirmed by none other than @DropsByJay, an Instagram sleuth known for his inside information and accuracy surrounding the Supreme brand. In a post yesterday, he wrote - "we are set to see an official collaboration between these two coming Spring of 2023. This will be their biggest designer collab since 2017 that was done with LV, with even more in store for the collection."

Needless to say, this is obviously quite the statement, but given the account's history of getting things right, we're somewhat inclined to believe it. Regardless of whether the rumours are true, we've got some months to wait before anything solid might materialise. Elsewhere in the fashion world, Stone Island and New Balance come together for another dose of football fever.
