Spotted wearing an “Ice Blue” pair of Air Force 1s during the World Cup activations, Le Flame was photo’d wearing a number of Total 90 themed jerseys and custom Argentina Nike track jacket, as well as his more usual jorts and camo trouser wardrobe.

The Travis Scottt icey blue Air Force 1s arrive with a faux-ostrich leather upper, as using real ostrich leather would be too expensive for Nike to use on even a smaller stock of shoes. Plus, the brand only ever delved into using exotic leather during the Nike Kitchen era (now called the Nike Innovation Kitchen) of the 2000s, a topic Mayor covered in one of his many sneaker collection videos from the golden era of ‘ShoeTube’. Although, there’s no reason why Travis’ own personal pair couldn’t be made from the real deal.

The ice blue leather is just embossed to give it the ostrich leather look, giving Travis the premium presence he deserves, being Nike’s top collaborator and all. The laces and outsole both are dressed up in a similar shade of light blue, with the midsole white helping break up the sneaker. As for the packaging, we’ll have to wait and see what spin Travis is planning on putting on the OG orange and grey AF1 box.

The lesser seen pair out of the two is clearly the mid-cut edition, with rumours pointing to these being exclusive to the artist himself. This could simply be down to Travis wear-testing both pairs and deciding that his Air Force 1 Low “Ice Blue” is more suited for a public release. Although, don’t be surprised if you see other Nike sponsored musicians like Central Cee rocking the mid-cuts later on in the year.
