As Oasis have reunited for the much awaited reunion tour, it seems like Liam and Noel are still at odds in some ways, each favouring a different adidas SPZL model to re engineer. The famous siblings are strengthening the adidas partnership by adding new Japan exclusive colourways to the two pack release this month. Following the drop, Oasis will head to Tokyo for two shows on 25th and 26th October.
Liam Gallagher’s Oasis x adidas Achille SPZL, which first appeared in a khaki colourway in August, now has a burgundy upper. This new version of the Achille features black suede overlays on the heel, toebox, and eyelets. Beige stripes and heel tabs stand out against the darker colours. As before, the tooth edged outsoles follow the shape of the zig zag trimmed stripes, and this time, a contrasting outsole makes the bottoms visually appealing.
In contrast, Noel Gallagher’s Oasis x adidas Marathon SPZL, which was first released in navy and sky blue, is now available with a mostly black upper. The stripes and heel tab provide primary red details. With a minimalist design and a mix of mostly suede materials, the Marathon is a modern alternative to the Achille silhouette. The smooth white midsoles mirror the refined feel of the uppers by omitting the textured soles.
Both Japan exclusive Oasis x adidas SPZL sneakers and the accompanying apparel collection are set to be released on 24th September, 2025, through adidas Confirmed and selected Japanese retailers, both online and in store. The apparel will also be available at pop ups near the Tokyo Dome and the ZOZOTOWN adidas store.
While this release is currently exclusive to Japan, you can get updates if they become available in the UK. Just click the 'Notify me' button to set a reminder!
