While Jack Grealish continues to enjoy a fine season with last year's Premier League Champions, Manchester City, it seems the 27-year-old star is continuing to make moves off the pitch also. The winger has now just signed a long-term partnership deal with PUMA after cutting ties with Nike earlier this year.
During Man City's draw to Nottingham Forest in late February, Grealish donned a pair of PUMA Future Ultimate Supercharge boots, sparking rumours of a potential move, and as of today, the deal is official. This latest partnership is said to be worth considerably more than his previous contract with Nike, likely sparking the move.
Speaking on the move, Grealish said, “They (PUMA) have an amazing history in football and have worked with some of the world’s greatest players. I am delighted to join the family and to be a PUMA FUTURE athlete. I am at home on the pitch and want to express myself, which is something I like about the brand, they do things differently and have a great outlook on football."
This isn't the first time Jack Grealish has made the headlines with off-the-pitch deals too, as some might remember when he became an ambassador for Gucci in April of last year. With the deals flooding in, it seems Grealish is keen to continue to chase the bag as well as goals. In other football and fashion news, adidas releases its '90s-inspired "Icons" collection.
