Japanese Skate Culture Inspires The Soulland x Nike SB Blazer Mid "FRI.day 03"

Soulland is no stranger when it comes to Nike SB collaborations. For the past few years, the Copenhagen-based retailer has been dropping Swoosh sneakers that are made for both the half pipe and the runway, and their latest release is certainly no different. Taking on the Blazer Mid, the "FRI.day 03" is off the scale - literally.

Taking inspiration from Japan's influential skate culture, the "FRI.day 03" was first spotted back in August during Copenhagen Fashion Week. Decked out in a full snakeskin material across its entire upper, other brands would have just slapped on a Swoosh and called it a day, but Soulland have done something completely different.

Not only have the materials been completely upgraded, you'll also find a tiny Swoosh shooting across the laterals. As for the for the medial side panel, a giant chenille one wraps around the heel. Asymmetrically styled “FRI” and “day” is embossed around the back, emphasising the name of the collaboration and finalising the design.
