While it's apparent that the NMD R1 isn't as popular as it once was, adidas wants you to join the dark side once again with the upcoming Star Wars x adidas NMD R1 'Darth Vader'! Spotted by sneakerhead @jemuelwong at an adidas Originals store in China, this is the latest Star Wars sneaker to leak since Storm Trooper-inspired Nite Jogger that we caught a glimpse of earlier this month.

Painted in an all black colour scheme, the first thing that you'll notice about the 'Darth Vader' is the strip of red that runs down the mesh upper - a nod to his iconic lightsaber. A portrait of the man himself is embellished across the tongue, and down below, you'll find a bright red Boost midsole that's printed with "Join me and together we can rule the galaxy." around the heel.

While it's odd that the Star Wars x adidas NMD R1 'Darth Vader' is only available in China and not anywhere else in the world, we should expect these to get a much wider drop in December to coincide with the with the theatrical release of ‘Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker‘.
