After a mysterious teaser, Nike has finally revealed its latest innovation in the form of the Air Jordan 34. Touted as one of the lightest basketball shoes ever created, the shoe strips back all the unnecessary materials, resulting in a shoe that's comfortable and lightweight without compromising on style and versatility.
On top of all of this, the AJ34 is the first shoe to utilise the brand's Jordan Eclipse Plate technology. Comprising of a Zoom Air unit at the forefoot, this is paired with two Pebax pieces for response like nothing else out there. According to designer Tate Kuerbis, this "helps reduce the overall stiffness and strips down the weight.";
In terms of design, the shoe is crafted from a see-through mesh and painted in an extremely wearable black and white colour scheme with red accents featuring throughout. The Morse code for the number 23 adorns the vamp, while “J4 — 34, 2.89-2019” makes its way to the outsole, symbolising thirty years since the release of the legendary Air Jordan 4.
Expected to release in a wide array of colourways, the Air Jordan 34 will hit shelves on September 25th, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more launch details as it develops!
