When the Air Jordan 5 first made its debut back in 1990, sneakerheads everywhere were astounded by its breathtaking design. The brainchild of Tinker Hatfield, it takes inspiration from the Mustang Fighter Jet that was deployed in World War 2, and it quickly became a symbol of Michael Jordan's first NBA championship. With its 30th anniversary popping up next year, it looks like Jumpman will be celebrating this milestone with a very special AJ5 colourway.
Dubbed the 'Top 3', the shoe fuses three of its most iconic colourways into one, including 'Fire Red', 'Black Metallic', and of course, 'Grape'. While this mish mash of palettes has been done before on other silhouettes, it's never been achieved on the AJ5, so this is definitely a release that you don't want to miss.
Other than the OG "Nike Air"; branding on the heels, pretty much nothing else is known about the alleged Air Jordan 5 'Top 3'. Scheduled to drop sometime in 2020, make sure you keep your eyes peeled for more release info and an updated list of stockists! Issa cop!
