Kanye West Was Just Spotted Wearing Nike

Kanye West, founder of Yeezy and avid Nike hater, was spotted just days ago trying on a pair of the new Nike ISPA Air Max 720. ‘So what?’ we hear you say. Well ladies and gents, the Chicago-born rapper has famously been feuding with the global sportswear brand since he ditched them for adidas back in 2013.

Not only did Ye savagely attack Nike in his 2016 track ‘Facts’ where he claims the brand ‘Gave LeBron a billi not to run away’, he also made claims that the brand ‘treat employees like slaves’. So, naturally, it comes as quite a shock to see the rapper casually trying on a new pair of Air Max 720 while out with his nephew Mason Disick.

Staying true to his brand, Kanye wears a YEEZY on his right foot while his left dons a statement pair of Nike sneaks. Checking them out in the closest mirror next to his nephew, it could be that Ye is just checking out the competition. OR, it could mean that something has gone on behind the scenes and Kanye has squashed his beef with Nike.

In the press this year, Kanye has been very vocal about changing his lifestyle after finding God. Noticeably more forgiving and positive, hopefully this is why he’s leaving his beef with Nike in 2019.

All we can say is we hope he squashes his beef with Drake next. Because we want another track collab.
