It’s 6:20 am, the sun is rising over the distance at Box Hill and you’re listening to your favourite early morning playlist. Life is good. But, without the right trail runners, those moments are less enjoyable.
KEEN’s been trekking up the footwear mountain recently, and this latest trail running just made that climb a whole lot easier. If you’re anything like me, you might have spotted people wearing Jaspers and UNEEKS at festivals, pubs and everywhere in between. Just as its profile continues to rise, the family-owned business is raising its game in the trail running world.
So, what makes the perfect trail runner? Well. that does depend on your personal preference. But, if your idea of perfection includes a lower stack height, being connected to the ground beneath you and a number of sustainable features, then the KEEN Wander could be a bit of you.
Unlike KEEN’s other offerings like the SEEK and ROAM, the Wander comes in at a solid £120, making this the more affordable runner within the range. Surprisingly, this doesn’t come at a durability cost, with the 3mm luggs on the outsole designed to last up to 925 miles - and that’s no small feat.

The best part, when you do finally start reaching the 1000 mile mark, the biodegradable midsole will slowly begin to fade away, meaning all those trail ventures left less of a footprint afterall (don’t worry, your Strava stats will still be there).
If you want to pick-up a pair of KEEN Wanders then head on over to the keen.co.uk website to check out all the available colourways. Keep it locked to The Sole Supplier for more trail running options.
