Kith founder Ronnie Fieg only announced his new coffee table book, Kith: The Footwear Archive, this week, and today, back to back, his brand presents its new K-Tech collection with performance-driven clothing and accessories as well as collaborative sneakers with On.
Let’s first chat about the book. To celebrate Kith’s 15th anniversary, Fieg has partnered with Assouline for a Kith: The Footwear Archive, a book that follows the brand’s footwear evolution, featuring Fieg’s own personal archive and showcasing the label’s 1,849 collaborations with 32 different brands.
The K-Tech apparel range brings versatile outerwear (including mesh and packable jackets), lightweight layers, shirts, shorts and pants – which are all interchangeable. This season we are introduced to the new Kith tees, made from breathable jersey.
Kith returns with Swiss sportswear brand On for a third iteration of their K-Tech shoe. After debuting their original silhouettes, K-Tech 1 and K-Tech 2 earlier this year, Kith introduces the K-Tech 3. The lifestyle sneaker features a newly developed upper made from technical mesh and suede overlays, using a Cloudzone 99 sole tooling, a ClouTec outsole, making it ultra comfy and On’s Speedboard technology for added stability. It comes in two colourways: Triple Black and Storm.
The K-Tech drop will also include a rerun of the performance model K-Tech 1, in a new Shark colourway, and K-Tech 2 in Grain and Ruby.
The K-Tech collection drops September 18th, while the book will be available from September 30th at Kith stores and kith.com.
