Remember when all we wanted was a fresh pair of 110s and a packet of Fruit Winders? I’m almost in my thirties and I still feel that way. Some things never change.
Someone at Nike marketing deserves a pay rise because this LEGO “OG Neon” is single-handedly making sure the next generation is all-in for the Swoosh.
Serving up that sneakerhead feeling is the upcoming LEGO x Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” (GS), a playful remix of the 1995 icon designed exclusively for kids.
This one trades real bricks for an animated edge, echoing the stylised visuals of 2025’s Yu-Gi-Oh collabs with bold, cell-shaded details that bring the silhouette into LEGO’s world.
The upper stays true to the Air Max 95’s iconic gradient, transitioning through greys and blacks with illustrated layers that mimic mesh and suede. LEGO characters land on the heel and tongue, and a co-branded logo lights up the reflective heel tab to complete the theme.
Open the box and there’s a surprise, just like a big LEGO set, the packaging transforms into a build helper with clever dividers once assembled.
It’s a playful touch that speaks to the collaboration’s attention to detail, making this drop as much about the unboxing as the sneaker itself. We haven’t seen this level of whimsy in an Air Max 95 since the patchwork edition dropped back in 2015.
It’s another clever move from Nike, who continue to place their products inside other cultural worlds from Fortnite to anime. By fusing their iconic models with immersive, youth-friendly aesthetics, Nike is locking in its future audience early.
The LEGO x Nike partnership has clearly hit its stride, and this might be their sharpest execution yet.
Landing 28 March 2026, the LEGO x Air Max 95 “Neon” drops in Grade School and Preschool sizes only. Retail is expected at £125 and £105 respectively, with launch confirmed on Nike SNKRS and select accounts.
Whether you’re buying for the kids or for the culture, this is one worth grabbing … maybe even building with. Keep up-to-date with all the latest Lego x Nike projects by downloading The Sole Supplier!
