Lionel Messi is Releasing His Own adidas Sambas

More maximalist in its approach, this latest rendition sees vivid blue tints atop a white leather base, finished off with a gold heel tab. Unlike its counterpart, the gold foil imprint on the side now flaunts a "Messi" signature, backed up by an embossed logo at the heel.

As if winning the Ballon d'Or and the FIFA World Cup wasn't enough, the GOAT, Lionel Messi, is now dropping his very own adidas Samba. Following on from an array of widely successful kits, the Argentinian and the 3-Strip brand have linked up to provide a fresh rendition of last year's most surging silhouette.

At first glance, some might mistake this Samba to be your standard run-of-the-mill general release, but upon closer inspection, there are a few key details. Atop a white base, we see the iconic adidas 3-Stripes decorated in a purple hue, backed up by this same tint at the heel. While you might expect "Messi" to replace the classic "Samba" gold foil on the lateral walls, this pair just opts for the regular stamp.

Keeping things subtle, Messi's neon yellow logo is stamped atop the tongue, with this same tint featured inside also. While some might have expected a little more from this shoe, there's no doubt in our minds that people will lap it up regardless. After all, it is Messi.
