Picture this: It's 1995, and Sergio Lozano has just taken the wraps off the Nike Air Max 95. Almost overnight it becomes a massive success, gaining a cult following from British sneakerheads who nicknamed it the "110" due to its £110 price tag. Now, to celebrate the silhouette's 25th anniversary, the Beaverton brand have has the Nike Air Max 95 "110", and it's a must cop!
Inspired by London street culture, the "110" is painted in an understated palette of grey, white, tan, and blue. Across the multiple leather layers, the AM95 is decked out in various patterns and textures that pay homage to the English capital's iconic skyline that combines both the old and the new.
Looking closer, you'll find an oversized tongue that's embellished with a "110" is the style of the original ten pound note. More money inspired detailing then graces the heel with metallic foil, and rounding it all off is an individually numbered label woven into the inside of the tongue.
Priced at the original £110, the Nike Air Max 95 "110" will be exclusive to Europe. An official release date has yet to be announced, so make sure you keep it locked at The Sole Supplier for more info as it develops! In related news, the Supreme x Nike TN Air Max Plus is releasing later this year!
