Louis Vuitton Joins The Dad Shoe Race With The ZigZag Sneaker

Trends are such strange things, aren't they? One minute, something can be old and dated, and just a few minutes later, they're the biggest fashion statement of the year. Whether you like it or not, the 'dad shoe' trend is here to stay, and the latest brand looking to challenge Balenciaga's current reign is none other than Louis Vuitton.

Images courtesy of Imed Soussi, a member of the fashion house's PR team, the ZigZag features an extra thick tongue and rope laces, surrounded by a zig-zag shaped cage, hence the name. So far, two colourways of the sneaker have surfaced so far, with the first one offered a metallic silver upper with blue accents, and the other sporting a black upper with similar blue detailing.
