After showcasing an eclectic range of seasonal artwork for SS22, London's own Maharishi is back and readying its latest collaboration. This link-up sees the streetwear imprint look across the pond to tap legendary New York artist Kunle Martins or EARSNOT to many.
For the unfamiliar, EARSNOT is the founder of the legendary graffiti crew IRAK, a group that rose to fame during the late '90s and early '00s. Now coming together with Maharishi, the duo has created ten unique apparel pieces, blending classic designs and motifs from each side.
Included, we see T-Shirts, trousers, long-sleeve tees, jackets and caps, with each bearing a selection of loud and colourful patterns. For example, EARSNOT's famous rainbow-coloured graff tag is seen across the back of the brand's signature Snopant design. This tag was created in 2019 to mark the 50th anniversary of New York City's Stonewall Riots. Elsewhere, Maharishi's knack for embroidered signatures shines through an array of intricate designs.
For those looking to get their hands on this Maharishi x IRAK collaboration, it is currently available for purchase on the Maharishi website. In other fashion news, MKI MIYUKI ZOKU launches its super-lightweight SS22 shell collection.
