Following the release of the Manchester United 21/22 Home Kit, The Red Devils have joined forces with adidas once again for their 21/22 Away addition. The kit arrives ahead of the start of the next Premier League season and seemingly channels shirts of the club's past with a 90s inspired design.
Drawing both "Cloud Blue" and "Glory Blue" hues together, this kit creates an optical-illusion-like pattern that takes inspiration from the 1992 season snowflake design. In contrast, pops of "Solar Red" adorn the logos and shoulder stripes of the garment. Overall, this creates a design that wouldn't look out of place in the terraces of the 90s.
Alongside the multi-coloured shirt, a pair of "Glory Blue" shorts join to create the full kit. These shorts utilise a heavily colour-blocked design featuring additional shades of "Solar Red" and white in contrast. These shorts exist as a tribute to the European Cup winning side of 1968, in which Manchester United defeated the Portuguese team Benfica.
We'll see the kit in action for the first time on July 31st, but as of now it's available at both adidas' and Manchester United's webstores. In other news, Machester City x Puma stay drippy with this aqua inspired away kit.
