Before officially starting her own business, Tailored Styling, Amber gained some serious fashion credentials at Luxure Magazine, ITV, and the Starworks Group in New York.
Amber's unfaltering dedication to luxury certainly shines through in her envy-inducing Instagram feeds and blog posts, documenting her hard work in hunting down coveted rare items for clients.
We caught up with Amber to discuss her top street style tips, must-have sneakers, and the trends that she can't get enough of this year. Check out the interview below.
How does your job influence your personal style?
Being a personal shopper and stylist, it's my job to look after other people's wardrobes. I deal with so many different people, all with different styles. I could be dressing a CEO's wife for a glamorous black tie event one day, the next I'll be arranging a pre-order for the hottest new sneaker launch for a collector overseas.
I think this rubs off on me a bit because I really appreciate all types of fashion, it's so difficult to nail down my own style. One day I want to be super polished in a little dress and heels, the next I'll be in boyfriend jeans and trainers.
Do you prefer wearing sneakers or heels?
Since I started my business, I've really stopped buying so many pairs of heels and would rather invest in trainers to be honest. As much as I love beautiful shoes, I'm often carrying tons of shopping bags and running between client appointments, so it's impossible to wear them.
How would you describe your outlook on the luxury streetwear industry?
I LOVE the way that luxury brands have embraced streetwear becoming more mainstream. It's crazy to think that years ago when I started out as a fashion intern, luxury sneakers just weren't really a thing.

How do you dress up your favourite sneakers?
Even when I'm in sneakers I still like to keep it a bit feminine, one of my favourite pairs I have are Valentino, and they're pink lace. Other pairs I'll wear with say a fur coat, or in the summer with a cute dress, so I still feel a bit girly!

Which fashion trend are you totally dedicated to this season?
Right now I'm loving how obsessed fashion seems to be with the '90s. When I'm out and about, I see so many people looking like they're an extra from one of the TV shows I grew up watching, or wearing brands that I knew as a teenager. As a '90s baby, it feels so nostalgic.

What's your opinion on the dad shoe trend?
I've tried to fight it so bad, but I'm really loving all the chunky dad trainers that brands are releasing. When Balenciaga's Triple S first launched I thought they were AWFUL, but I think I must have sourced so many pairs that they've slowly grown on me.

If you had to pick a must-have accessory for 2018, what would you go for?
I tend to like trends that are hopelessly impractical or unwearable - I love mini bags to death right now. Some are so small its like playing Tetris trying to fit the essentials in but I still keep buying them!
Can you share your number one styling rule to live by?
Huge logos still don't seem to be going anywhere, when I was younger you couldn't have paid me to wear something so heavily branded, but now I'm like, oooh it says Gucci really large, I want it! I think the rule should be one logo mad item per outfit though. If you're wearing a logo sweater, your trainers need to be really minimal and understated.
