London-based streetwear label Maharishi has reunited with Mizuno for the third time, reinterpreting the Wave Prophecy LS Maharishi trainer and merging technical innovation with symbolic design. 

The collab reflects Maharishi’s core motif of duality, fusing Eastern and Western influences with Mizuno’s focus on performance and innovation. The Japanese brand has been around for more than a century, founded in Japan in 1906, and has always pushed for progressive silhouettes, combining function with contemporary design. The shoe is rooted in Mizuno’s performance heritage with a leather, suede, TPU and mesh upper, sitting atop the brand’s signature Infinity Wave sole. 

The trainer features a black/olive colourway with a hard dragon-embroidered tongue (a nod to Maharishi’s signature detailing of Eastern symbolism), as well as reflective details and a structural TPU cage which bring out the shoe’s utilitarian elements. 

The Wave Prophecy LS Maharishi drops on March 27th, 11am GMT at maharishi.com, followed by a global release April 10th.
