Marvel and adidas is back with more superhero-themed footwear before the end of 2026. As we hit autumn and the year starts to head towards its last quarter, the MCU is dropping one last set of sneakers to feed its army of loyal fans.
With Vision Quest coming out on October 14th and Avengers Doomsday releasing on December 18th, the Marvel Universe had to give the fans something to lace up while they wait. So, uniting forces with adidas, we’ve had a glimpse as to what this upcoming collection is going to look like.
3 Marvel x adidas Superstars are part of the capsule, including a Dr Doom, Ant Man and Black Panther’s Shuri edition. What makes the release even better is the action figure-style shoe box that each pair arrives in.
Ant Man x adidas Superstar
The Ant-Man edition comes with a set of flat dual-coloured laces, with the superhero’s name printed onto the sidewall in silver foil. His signature helmet is printed on the tongue, another silver accent that ties neatly with the accenting across the upper. As for the upper, you’ll find a red leather with a textured finish much like Ant-Man’s suit.
Doctor Doom x adidas Superstar
As for the Dr Doom Superstar, the mostly-black upper may seem plain at first, but look closer and the details soon come to life. Once again, Doom’s helmet decal is printed onto the tongue in silver, with his cape’s chain also depicted further down the eyelets.
The heel panelling and 3-Stripe panels are bejewelled with small metal balls, a nod to the dotted finish around the Doctor’s protective suit.
Black Panther x adidas Superstar
Last but certainly not least on the list is the Shuri Superstar edition. Once again, the black upper allows for a number of great details that really shine the closer you get. Metal balls and jewel-shaped necklace emblems around the heel beautifully nod to her suit.
The purple flat lace and sidewall moniker written in what could only be isiXhosa, pay homage to her cape, neatly tying the palette together.
Feedback on these 3 Marvel Superstars have been mixed so far, but that’s to be expected considering how hard the MCU fans ride for the franchise. These Marvel fans won’t accept anything but perfection.
Expect these Marvel Superstars to hit the adidas CONFIRMED app and select UK stockists in the upcoming month, but you can set up a release reminder to stay updated on the exact details.
