3 Marvel x adidas Superstars are part of the capsule, including a Dr Doom, Ant Man and Black Panther’s Shuri edition. What makes the release even better is the action figure-style shoe box that each pair arrives in.

The Ant-Man edition comes with a set of flat dual-coloured laces, with the superhero’s name printed onto the sidewall in silver foil. His signature helmet is printed on the tongue, another silver accent that ties neatly with the accenting across the upper. As for the upper, you’ll find a red leather with a textured finish much like Ant-Man’s suit.

As for the Dr Doom Superstar, the mostly-black upper may seem plain at first, but look closer and the details soon come to life. Once again, Doom’s helmet decal is printed onto the tongue in silver, with his cape’s chain also depicted further down the eyelets.

The heel panelling and 3-Stripe panels are bejewelled with small metal balls, a nod to the dotted finish around the Doctor’s protective suit.

Last but certainly not least on the list is the Shuri Superstar edition. Once again, the black upper allows for a number of great details that really shine the closer you get. Metal balls and jewel-shaped necklace emblems around the heel beautifully nod to her suit.

The purple flat lace and sidewall moniker written in what could only be isiXhosa, pay homage to her cape, neatly tying the palette together.
