It's crazy to think that the Dior x Air Jordan 1 High made its first appearance over three months ago. Unveiled at the French luxury fashion house's pre-Fall 2020 show in Miami back in December, the shoe quickly became the most anticipated collaboration of the year, quite literally breaking the internet in the process. Now, more release info has surfaced for the ultra hyped Nike AJ1, and we're here to update you on the latest.
Painted in an ultra clean colour palette, the Dior Air Jordan 1 boasts a clean white base that's contrasted with "Dior Grey" panelling - a signature shade used only in the label's pieces. Decked out in premium Italian calf leather, a lacy Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial side panels, peppered with the iconic monogram. A modified winged basketball is debossed onto the heel, and it also makes an appearance across the rubber outsole where it can be observed like a piece of art housed in glass.

Dropping alongside a full apparel collection which includes graphic tees and shorts, it'll also feature some smarter options as well such as blazer sets and a wide range of accessories like leather goods, jewellery, jacquard ties, and silk scarves.
In terms of a release date, nothing is set in stone just yet but the Dior x Nike Air Jordan 1 High will definitely launch sometime next month in April with a price tag of $2,000. Releasing exclusively through Dior flagships across the globe, a few pop-up shops will also be available for those who don't live near the label's main stores. With that said, it will still be extremely limited, with just a mere 8,500 pairs launching - a nod to the year the Jordan 1 debuted, 1985.
Let us know if you'll be going for a pair next month, and in related news, the Off-White x Air Jordan 4 "Bred" could actually be releasing this summer! It's a big year for Jumpman!
