England’s new World Cup kits arrive with a message stitched into the fabric. Sported by Rashford, Kane, Pickford and new face Elliot Anderson, the jersey is a lesson in the fundamentals. A large Three Lions crest, subtle all over print and unique collar detailing make for small changes, yet ones that don’t distract from the new found momentum.
The official England website writes, “This launch signifies a new era for the Three Lions, being the first major tournament under the management of Thomas Tuchel”, with this kit certainly bringing a different energy.

Aside from that loss against Senegal, Tuchel and the squad have gotten off to a good start, winning nine 9 out of 10 games in the lead up to the tournament. No doubt we’re in good stead coming up to the World Cup, and with a focus on unity behind the Three Lions fanbase, all the signs are looking positive.
Providing the voice over for the video campaign is UK MC Mike Skinner, a voice so synonymous with Englishness, only the likes of David Attenborough could give him a run for his money. Speaking over Fred Again’s Lights Burn Dimmer track, Skinner’s prose paint a sense of ambition and a real hope going into the Americana.
A number of second place finishes has been the team’s fate these past few years, so will this kit be forever tied to the cheers and jeers of lifting the World Cup trophy? I suppose only time will tell.
Both kits will be available from Monday 23 March via EnglandStore.com and Nike websites.
