Being stylish isn't a science, it doesn't require a degree, all you need is some solid staples and strong layers. We wanted to show you just how simple it can be, piecing together four outfits that we fully built from UNIQLO's Spring range.

We moved from streetwear to formal, all of which was made easy down to the strength of each individual item. We're trying to make sure you can have your most stylish Spring yet, and with these examples below, you no longer have an excuse.

This number proves you can elevate an everyday outfit, without looking like you're about to clock into your nine-to-five. Instead of a baggy denim, we chose UNIQLO's Pleated Wide Trousers, instantly raising the levels. Of course, from this point, it's easy to start delving into that smarter bracket, so to keep things casual, we grabbed the Cotton Blend Short Parka in this tasteful shade of red.

Now, not only does the top and bottom half have an interesting cut, giving you some serious kudos in the silhouette department, but each block balances each other out. What you find as a result, is that you're perched nicely in that middle ground between formal and casual. All this with just two pieces from UNIQLO, throw in a sprinkle of silver chains, Nike Goadomes and you're there.

Arguably the most formal out of the four, we decided to set the focus point around the striped shirt. It's easy to box this kind of shirt into a category, but here we are proving how versatile it is as a layering piece. Before adding in the Broadcloth Regular Fit Shirt, you've got to lay down the foundations. These come in the form of UNIQLO's Barrel Leg Trouser and white Supima Cotton Shirt, which might be a lot of white for some, so we'd steer clear if you've got a tendency to pick up scuffs and scrapes.

We also added an extra layer of depth through the accessories, letting the silver rings, chains and UNIQLO rectangle Sunglasses help play down the striped shirt.

Jorts are going to be bigger than ever this year, and UNIQLO's is the best bang for your buck. This is an absolute staple for your wardrobe and an obvious replacement for your standard full-length denim. This time, we used the dark grey Jorts as a springboard to other muted colours, mixing in a grey Sumpima Cotton T-shirt and brown Boxy shirt as an added layer.

This outfit would have just worked just as well without the short sleeve shirt and beanie, or just as the Jorts and shirt, so there's definitely room to play around with these layers.

Alternatively, if you avoid patterns because they remind you of being a kid again, then swap in this Premium Linen Short Sleeve instead. Going with block colours can be the best move for some, but remember not to lose your inner child. Either way, this monotone palette is simply on point.

We loved the UNIQLO pleated trousers so much, we had to circle back to them for this last outfit. Choosing a darker hue for the top half, the navy Premium Linen Shirt works if you're trying to stick to the formal elements below. Keeping the full-fit relaxed, there's less risk of running hot, which is not what you want when you're trying to enjoy your evening out. Deciding to break up the block colours, we went with a thinly striped AIRism Cotton Oversized T to help tone things down. Of course, if things get more chilly, just button up and you'll be good to go.
