An ode to the cities of LA, NYC and Chicago, Nike has designed a brand-new collection of Nike Air Force 1 entitled the ALL FOR ONE – a reimagining of the style’s signature abbreviation, AF1. Each style is imbued with the spirt and culture of their respective sneaker while maintaining the signature details of the original silhouette.
First up, LA’s very own artist Lauren Halsey crafts a jet-black AF1 from leather and suede and overlays it with a patent Swoosh and see-through ankle strap. With neon laces, prints on the tongue and inner are reminiscent of local storefronts and signs.
The second pair, designed in collaboration with New York City ’s Parks Department, is made from leather and mesh with tonal branding and breathable perforations. With the department’s signature leaf logo on the tongue, a final flash of detail comes in the form of a multi-coloured outsole – which is made from recycled Nike Grind material.
Last up is Chicago’s iteration. Inspired by No Cuts No Glory (a local barbershop owned by Drew Henderson), this shoe nods to community feel and businesses in the city. The tongue is accented with Chicago’s skyline sat atop a barber’s comb, all sat nicely below Nike’s signature Swoosh logo.
Essential additions to every single sneaker collection, the NYC Nike Air Force 1 is due to release on the 5th December, while the LA and Chicago pairs will follow on the 7th December. All due to drop on Nike’s SNKRS app and select stores, get ready and set to cop these.
