With the 2022 FIFA World Cup in sight, respective nations are now putting the final touches on their signature match kits and collections, and this latest rendition just might take the cake. With legendary designer NIGO at the helm, adidas has now unveiled Japan's national football team collection in all its show stopping glory.
The collection itself is comprised of an array of classic sportswear silhouettes, including tracksuits, shorts, tees, socks, caps, beanies, and of course, match-ready football kits. Each piece arrives with a soft and subdued combination of pink and green hues, offering a fresh yet distinctive appearance throughout.
Along with JFA and adidas logo emblems, each piece arrives embellished with a heart-shaped cherry blossom signature, bearing nods to Japan's national flower. In addition, a contrasting "22" print is seen on both the football kit and shorts, echoing the significance of the 2022 FIFA World Cup event.
For those looking to support Japan in the upcoming tournament, the kit is currently available for purchase on the adidas website, with the remainder of the collection expected to drop within the coming days. In other football fashion news, Drôle de Monsieur x Kappa come together to design AS Monaco's latest kit.
