Well, this isn't something you hear everyday. Over the weekend, Houston Dynamo footballer Zarek Valentin was getting his usual shipment of sneakers from Nike, but when he opened the box he found something unexpected. Amidst his pick-ups, the Swoosh accidentally sent him a pair of unreleased Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 "MCA", and without even thinking he snapped some shots and fired them onto IG, and we're taking a closer look!
Building on the legendary colourway that Virgil Abloh made in collaboration with the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago last year, this "MCA" originally made its debut at Louis Vuitton Men's Fall Winter 2020 presentation. Featuring a full leather construction tinted in a bold blue hue, a shimmering silver Swoosh glides across the lateral and medial side panels of the Air Force 1, while the signature red zip tie makes a comeback for that deconstructed look that we all know and love.
What makes this different from the other version though is the inclusion of the zig-zag lacing system which debuted on Abloh's Dunk Low. You'll also find a fully blacked out Nike Air midsole as well which is pretty unusual to say the least.
Pretty much nothing else is known about this Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 "MCA" at the moment, but some rumours are suggesting that we could see them release in limited quantities sometime in August - though this has yet to be confirmed. Let us know what you think of them, and while you're here, you might as well take an on-foot look at the Off-White x Air Jordan 4 "Sail"!
