If you’re a serious sneakerhead then you’re probably already aware of the highly-anticipated Space Jam: A New Legacy film that’s due to hit cinemas very soon. The original Space Jam launched all the way back in 1996 and starred none other than Michael Jordan, making it a cult-classic almost immediately and especially for those into sneakers.
Now that the sequel is inbound, both Nike and Converse have unveiled a collaborative merchandise collection that contains some of the all-time classic silhouettes! Models such as the Air Force 1, LeBron 18 Low, the Chuck 70 and the Pro Leather all receive the Looney Tunes treatment along with a whole range of apparel to match the sneakers.
Kicking things off on Nike’s side is the AF1, which takes on a white and UNC blue colourway which is then adorned with plenty of different hoop-shooting characters. Next up is the LeBron 18 Low in three different colourways, while the yet-to-be-released LeBron 19 is previewed as part of the pack in a fresh orange colourway.
Next up is Converse, with two black and white editions of the Chuck 70 High decked out in Looney Tunes motifs, offering a more traditional take than the Nike silhouettes. Accompanying the two Chucks is also a white version of the Pro Leather Low with orange basketball details. Once again, a whole apparel range is present including T-shirts, shorts and even a backpack.
If you’re looking to cop the upcoming LeBron 19 or any of the footwear and merchandise set to drop as part of the Space Jam: A New Legacy pack, then you’ll have to wait a little longer just yet as the pack is set to release at some point in July, potentially coinciding with the film’s release on the 16th July.
