In honour of the NBA 75th anniversary, Nike is set to honour three of the original and most influential teams of the organisation's history with a range of classic uniforms. The Boston Celtics, New York Knicks and the Golden State Warriors will each receive historic replicas of some of their most famous kits.
The Boston Celtics strip arrives with the classic white & green design with a large Celtics logo displayed across the chest. The shorts utilise a similar colour-blocked design with the addition of two contrasting three-leaf clovers. This uniform replicates that of which the team wore all the way back in 1946.
The Knicks uniform also looks to 1946 for inspiration. A large "New York" font is displayed across the chest accentuated by tones of navy and orange found around the kit. The shorts utilise a stylish striped design on both the outer leg and the bottom.
The Warriors uniforms feature a navy base strengthened by bright tones of yellow and red. These uniforms are modelled on the same ones the team wore for the 1961-62 season, the season famed for Wilt Chamberlain scoring over 100+ points in a single game.
If you're a basketball fan, you're going to want to keep your eye out for these ones! In other news, Champion x Muhammed Ali return for round II.
