The Swoosh's Nike Air Max 90 celebrations are officially underway, and to commemorate the legendary silhouette's thirtieth anniversary, they've unveiled three brand new silhouettes for 2020. Each model will see elements of the AM90 reinterpreted and updated for the next generation.
First off is the Nike Air Max 2090. Arguably the highlight of the range, this shoe boasts an ultra futuristic aesthetic but gets infused with classic 90 features, including the mudguard, heel logo, and cassette feature around the Air unit. Crafted from a series of panels in varying opacity, deconstructed stitching and an elasticated heel pull tab finalise the look.
Secondly, the Nike Air Max 90 FlyEase places a massive emphasis on letting sneakerheads get in and out of their shoes with ease. Completely reworking the iconic model's heel portion, it now collapses to allow entry, before snapping back into place for added security.
Finally, we have the Nike Air Max Verona that is fresh to the women’s-focused Air Max range. Borrowing cues from the Air Max 90's tooling and beefing up the construction and heel, this results in the Air window being 200% bigger than traditional Nike shoes.
Now for those all-important release dates. The Nike Air Max Verona and Nike Air Max 90 FlyEase will launch on February 15th and March 9th respectively, while a drop date has yet to be confirmed for the Nike Air Max 2090. Let us know which of these you'll be copping, and while you're here, take an extra 20% off these unmissable sale items at Nike UK!
