With Mexico's Día de Muertos around the corner, Nike is kicking off the festivities early with the thematic Air Force 1 'Day Of The Dead'. Celebrating the lives of loved ones who have passed away and helping them through their spiritual journey, here's everything that you need to know!
Building on a clean white leather base, if you look close enough you'll find that it's peppered with a sugar skull print on the mudguard, towards the rear, and on the Swoosh. Yellow, blue, purple, and green accents feature for a pop of contrast, inspired by the vibrant pops of colour used during the holiday, and a giant pink skull graphic graces the insole embellished with spider web detailing for an even creepier vibe.
Down below, an Air infused midsole is present for comfort that's truly unrivalled, and to round it all off, a luxe gold lace locks completes the classic look, etched with "AF1"; branding for good measure.
At this moment in time pretty much nothing else is known about the Nike Air Force 1 'Day Of The Dead', but with Día de Muertos taking place from October 31st to November 2nd, we should expect a release around then.
