The Nike React Element 55 'B2-Fera' is an amazing looking shoe with an equally as amazing backstory. Made in collaboration with Bolivian fashion designer and cultural ambassador Fera Schmidt, this shoe pays homage to her journey from Bolivia to New York City, and it's definitely one of the best RE55s to release this year.
Painted in a striking lime green hue that's a nod to Schmidt's hometown of Santa Cruz de La Sierra, the 'B2-Fera' gets its name from the designer's forename combined with the B2 immigration Visa that she had to file in order to move to NYC. A giant black Swoosh shoots across the lateral and medial side panels, slinging down towards the full length React foam unit that's been providing sneakerheads with unbeatable comfort since 2017.
Striking orange accents arrive on the heel paying tribute to the bright lights of her home in the Big Apple, and the name "B2"; adorns the top of the tongue, emphasising the collaboration's roots. To round it all off, a trail shoe-like lacing system ties it all up, giving it an extra rugged vibe.
