With more brands aiming to become sustainable in 2022, few brands leading the leading the pack as well as Nike. This Year, Nike aims to expand on its Move To Zero initiative with its latest selection of both apparel and footwear. This latest Spring/Summer 2022 collection showcases an expansive range of familiar silhouettes, all of which arrive with eco-conscious solutions to production.
For those unfamiliar with Move To Zero, it's Nike's journey towards zero carbon and zero waste. With a commitment to sustainability, Move To Zero aims to cause as little impact on the environment as physically possible.
With this new collection, Nike is set to launch a fresh group of fleeces, rain jackets and canvas styles, most of which will be part of its ongoing Sportswear sub-line. Jackets and outerwear pieces such as its classic Windrunner have now been engineered with a 75% recycled nylon construction, while Tech Pack pieces will be constructed with recycled nylon and an organic cotton mix.
