Nike P-6000 Sizing: Do They Fit True To Size?

With retro-runners taking over this summer, our socials have been flooded with questions about the Nike P-6000. One of Nike’s most in demand sneakers of the year, this retro style has been a favourite of The Sole Supplier office since its release back in 2019 thanks to its Y2K aesthetic.

The Nike P-6000 does fit true to size. We’ve had numerous pairs come into our office over the years and every time we’ve found that they fit true to size perfectly. Thanks to the retro running style of this shoe, they’re also a great option if you have wider feet, as you can get a great fit without needing to size up and leave an uncomfortable gap. With options coming in every size (including half sizes) you’re bound to find a pair that fits you.

We gave this shoe a wear test over a week and can say for sure that this shoe is incredibly comfortable. Whilst it doesn’t pack the Nike Air technology which can be found in Air Max silhouettes, the P-6000’s midsole unit still offers a great amount of cushioning on foot and it’s lightweight build means it’s perfect for all day wear, especially during the hot summer months.

We saw this question pop up a couple times on our socials and whilst the P-6000 is a great shoe which draws inspiration from Nike running silhouettes such as the Pegasus range, we would not recommend it for running. The P-6000 was developed as a lifestyle trainer and there are much better running alternatives which Nike offers which will offer much more.

When it comes to styling the P-6000, we found it really easy. Depending on the colourway you buy, the shoe goes with just about everything. We’ve been rocking this shoe a lot in summer and usually opted to style it in athleisure outfits with shorts or skirts, which is probably where this sneaker is most at home. We also really like this shoe in vintage looks, paired with a pair of light-wash jeans and a graphic tee.
