Without a shadow of a doubt, the biggest sneaker brands in the world are taking heavy inspiration from '90s era designs. Just in the past few weeks, adidas has revived the ZX 4000 OG, and delved into its archives for the TRESC RUN. Now, it looks like the Swoosh is doing the same, reviving the legendary Air Max Light from 1989.
Keeping major features of the Air Max 1, the Air Max Light sits atop the signature bubble unit in the midsole, while “Nike Air” motifs can be found on the tongue as well as at the rear. A contrasting combination of white, black and 'Sports Red' takes over the uppers for a look that's both classic and contemporary.
Set to release on January 10th, let us know if you'll be copping the Nike Air Max Light down in the comments below! In related news, take a closer look at the newly-revived adidas Originals Nite Jogger!
