LISA’s deconstructed dress is the sneaker variation we didn’t know we needed. This week, Nike continued its imaginative project Rip the Script – the sneaker house’s World Cup campaign – via a collaboration with Thai fashion brand IWANNABANGKOK. The brand set out to figuratively deconstruct the new Nike Mercurial sneaker and turn it into a full outfit for Blackpink's and The White Lotus’s LISA.
Nike recently released two new Mercurial models – the brand’s “fastest” shoe, the Superfly, and the Vapor. Lisa’s ensemble was designed to reinterpret the Vapor, the lightest Mercurial ever created. The dress appears as a two-piece. It’s athletic in style, but deconstructed, with loose strings hanging from the shirt and body. In a nod to the fact that its design is a play on a shoe, two shoelaces hang from the top’s chest plate, while lace-up areas are strewn across the skirt. Per the Nike press release, the dress draws on the boot’s featherweight Atomknit upper and ultra-thin translucent FlyLite plate. It also works in elements from Nike’s Phantom models. The dress was built in a mere 24 hours (echoing the speed the shoe itself is designed to allow for).

IWANNABANGKOK is run by Adisak “Beam” Jirasakkasem and Supakorn “Grofe’ Buaruan, and was crowned by ID as “the future of Thai fashion.” For the deconstructed Nike garment, the brand teamed up with LISA and her stylist Hathairat “Nan Nist” Permpoon. LISA had previously worked with the brand on the “LLOUD GYM COLLECTION.”
Nike, too, has a history of collaborating with LISA, both as a brand ambassador and for the Nike x Skims 2026 collection and for Nike’s ‘Universe of Football’ campaign for the Air Max 95.
“It was an unforgettable experience,” IWANNABANGKOK said. “When you work with the right people, magic happens.”
