Like the adidas Originals Yung-1, most dad sneakers tend to go for a more retro aesthetic, however, the Nike M2K Tekno opts for a more futuristic vibe. A lesson in sneaker styling, this chunky crep first dropped in April, and now, the Swoosh has unleashed the winter-ready 'Corduroy & Textured' pack.
A modernised take on the legendary Nike Monarch, the three-sneaker range features touches of hairy suede, mesh, corduroy and textured rubber. The first colourway is painted in a mixture of dark grey and olive, the second boasts an all-over tan hue, and the third welcomes a combination of dark and light obsidian. All three versions are completed with a classic Monarch midsole, and topped up with a matte plastic heel piece for an interesting textural contrast.
The Nike M2K Tekno 'Corduroy & Textured' pack is set to release on December 1st! Let us know which colourway you'd cop down in the comments below! In related news, Nike recently unveiled the chunky Zoom 2K sneaker!
