Nike Unveils the ACG Rufus in Spring Ready 'Denim Turquoise'

The Nike All Conditions Gear (ACG) line continues to push the boundaries of outdoor ready performance while embracing its rich heritage. Known for its innovation against the elements, ACG has also developed a knack for revisiting its archives, bringing back long lost designs for a new generation of adventurers. Over the past six months, the brand has reintroduced the ACG Rufus, a slip on style from 2001, in both original and updated colorways.

Originally designed for comfort on rugged terrain, the ACG Rufus had faded into obscurity; until now. Thanks to shifting trends, the silhouette has made a strong comeback, staying true to its roots while incorporating fresh, seasonal updates. While earlier iterations revived the original colorways from its debut, the latest version, dubbed "Denim Turquoise," offers a modern twist in line with Nike's seasonal aesthetic.

This new "Denim Turquoise" edition departs from the earthy suede tones of previous releases, such as "Geode Teal" and "Limestone." Instead, it features a light blue denim upper that evokes a breezy, sky like aura. Adding a touch of flair, shimmering miniature Swooshes adorn the lateral sidewalls, injecting personality into the rugged design. The sturdy sole unit contrasts the denim upper with muted "Khaki" tones, while a bold reddish orange accent appears in the aggressive tread pattern, adding a splash of energy to the trail ready build.
