Beaverton sportswear powerhouse Nike continues to dive deeper into the digital space with Web3 label RTFKT by purchasing the "DotSwoosh.eth" ENS (Ethereum Name Service) domain for 19.72ETH (approximately $35,000), which corresponds to the same year Carolyn Davidson's Swoosh logo made its public appearance.
While the true purpose of this purchase has not been revealed yet by Nike or RTFKT Studios, we can only assume that there are exciting announcements to be made. With that said, ENS domains recently saw massive demand, notably 3-digit to 5-digit names being the most popular. Currently, ENS: Ethereum Name Service holds a ground-breaking sales volume of 30K-plus Ether on OpenSea at the time of writing this.
