Nike and food-inspired colourways? A recipe for success! From the “Chunky Dunky” to the “Lobster” and even the spicy AF1 “Chilli Pepper,” these collabs are a feast for the feet. And now, rumour has it, mint chocolate might be the next sweet treat hitting shelves around the new year. Dessert, anyone?
With both an Air Force 1 and Nike Dunk on the horizon, lets take a closer look at these upcoming "Mint Chocolate" colourways.
Exclusively for women, this tasty drop is a feast for the eyes, blending minty greens with rich chocolatey browns. Expected to hit shelves by the end of this year, this sneaker offers both style and a playful nod to a flavour that’s either loved or debated.
This "Mint Chocolate" Air Force 1 Low features eye catching metallic silver Swoosh logos, complemented by four mini Swooshes framing the quarter panels on both the lateral and medial sides. Nike’s even whipped up a fresh new design detail, shrinking the quarter panel to create an airy space between the toe and heel overlays.
The shoe’s base is crafted almost entirely from minty light green leather, offering a crisp look. A brown suede Swoosh and matching back tab add a rich contrast, balanced by an all-brown midsole and outsole for a cohesive finish. A full brown midsole and outsole tie it all together like the perfect scoop in a waffle cone.
Dropping just in time to close out 2024, the Air Force 1 Low “Mint Chocolate” promises to be the cherry on top of your sneaker collection.
The “Neapolitan” aesthetic is a familiar sight in Nike's lineup, particularly on the Dunk Low. This time, however, they’ve tossed a fresh flavour into the mix. Sure, you’ve got the classic strawberry pink on the base and rich chocolate brown on the outsole and Swoosh, the highlight here is the refreshing mint tone.
This icy hue takes centre stage across the topmost overlays, injecting new energy into the well loved design. Adding to the intrigue, a closer look from above reveals a playful innovation: the left and right shoes have swapped the pink and mint hues, making it look like your kicks had their own little identity crisis.
The Nike Dunk Low "Mint Chocolate" is set to debut in early 2025, carrying the standard retail price of £110.
