The Air Jordan 1 is arguably the best Michael Jordan signature shoe to ever release, and lately Nike has blessed us with multiple high-heat colourways! The most recent edition set to launch is the AJ1 Game Royal 2020, which follows on neatly from it’s 2018 predecessor. Nike has now released official images of the pair, and it’s safe to say that we can’t wait to get our hands on these.

Drawing inspiration from the OG 1985 “Royal” colourway that was last released in 2017, the Game Royal uses traditional colour blocking, swapping out the black centre panel for a clean whited-out section. Traditional Jordan branding is present as ever in the form of the wings logo at the collar and black Swooshes on both the lateral and medial sides.

Premium quality leather is used throughout for a luxury feel, while classic details such as the perforated toe box and Nike Air embroidery at the tongue also make an appearance. There’s no doubt that these are a must-have for any Jordan collector, especially as they bear a strong resemblance to the grail-status AJ1 x Fragment release from 2014!
