The highly anticipated lineup of 2025 Jordan releases kicks off with the first ever retro launch of the Jordan 3 “Black Cat” on 11th January. A full year after the initial announcement, and following multiple release date changes, we now have official images showcasing the full family size run.

This 2025 retro stays true to the original 2007 design, featuring a premium black nubuck upper, iconic greyscale elephant print on the toe and heel panels as well as the laces; and a glossy patent leather mudguard. But with the recent “Black Cement” retro, some eagle eyed sneakerheads couldn’t help but notice the elephant print looks lighter than its predecessors.

For true fans of the Jordan Brand, the “Black Cat” series needs no introduction. It all started with the Black Cat 4s back in 2006 (and spoiler: they’re making a comeback in late 2025). Inspired by Michael Jordan’s alter ego and one of his coolest nicknames, this stealthy design quickly became the dark knight of the Jordan Brand lineup.

While the “Black Cat” is best known for prowling through the Jordan 3s and 4s, it’s also made cameos in newer kicks like the Spizike Low and the Jordan 4 RM in 2024.

The Air Jordan 3 “Black Cat” will release in full family sizing on 11th January, 2025, with the adult pairs dropping for £150.
