Don't act as if you didn't know the Nike SB Dunk Low "Crater" was in the works. A line of sneakers that is literally paving the way for more environmentally friendly footwear, the ultra sustainable treatment has made its way to a slew of Swoosh sneakers this season, so these official images shouldn't be too much of a surprise.
After gracing the Air Jordan 1 and the Blazer Mid, the "Crater" has now landed on the ultra hyped Dunk Low. Painted in a "Dark Grey" and "White" colour palette that's perfect for the wet and windy months ahead, this colourway leaves the usual leather construction behind in favour of recycled canvas, polyester, and rubber.
Moving down below you'll be presented with a Zoom Air unit that's made from re-used TPU, and to round it all off, a Nike Swoosh is finely stitched along the lateral and medial side panels, resulting in what can only be described as a DIY-inspired aesthetic.
According to our sources, the Nike SB Dunk Low "Crater" will drop on October 17th worldwide, though this has yet to be officially confirmed. Let us know what you think of this sustainable shoe, and while you're here, you might as well take a closer look at the Nike SB Dunk Low "Summit White"!
