In an era where many collaborations feel uninspired, Jae Tips and Saucony continue to deliver a refreshing change of pace. The Bronx born creative powerhouse has built a reputation for bold, storytelling driven designs, strengthening Saucony’s presence in the footwear industry with back to back standout projects over the past two years. Now, amidst the excitement of Paris Fashion Week, Jae Tips has unveiled his latest collaboration: the Saucony Jazz 9.
As part of the iconic Jazz running line, first introduced in the 1980s, the Jazz 9 feels like a natural progression for Jae Tips’ partnership with Saucony, which has largely focused on retro inspired silhouettes. This latest design is as vibrant as ever, featuring a striking hot pink midsole complemented by lively shades of orange, yellow, and blue across the upper. However, the real highlight lies in the heel, where stitched text reads, “I Love You, But I’m Busy” across the left and right shoes; adding a layer of narrative depth that ties with the loud design.
Official images of the Jae Tips x Saucony Jazz 9 “I Love You, But I’m Busy” have been released, revealing custom insoles with “coming soon” written in bold red script on a blue background. While specific release details haven’t been confirmed yet, the sneakers are expected to drop later this month. Keep an eye on The Sole Supplier for updates as more information becomes available.
