Paris Fashion Week's Fall/Winter 2019 runway has been insane for sneakers. Showcasing a wide range of new silhouettes and fire collaborations, the world's biggest brands landed in the fashion capital to unveil their next big release.

UNDERCOVER x Nike Air Max 720
Following the release of the wildly popular Nike React Element 87 collection, Jun Takahashi reunited with the Swoosh for the UNDERCOVER x Nike Air Max 720. Unveiled in a range of vibrant colourways, the sneaker features a speckled design that resembles a paint splatter. “We make clothes not noise” text graces the side of the sneaker's Airbag, while the conventional laces have been swapped out for a silky ribbon.
White Mountaineering x adidas Originals Nite Jogger
The White Mountaineering x adidas Originals Nite Jogger reworks the '70s model for the modern era. Debuting in two distinct colourways, the Japanese brand adds its signature touches to the running silhouette. Crafted from suede and mesh, “White Mountaineering” brand graces the lateral side and heel, and to round off the design, a full length Boost midsole sits underfoot.
Sacai x Nike LDV Waffle Daybreak
Leaked at the end of last month, the Sacai x Nike LDV Waffle Daybreak flawlessly fuses two iconic Nike silhouettes - the legendary Waffle Daybreak and the signature LDV Fusion. Painted in a monochromatic colour palette of black, grey, and white, double Swoosh branding, double tongue tabs, double laces, and an exaggerated sole complete the overall look of this special iteration.
AMBUSH x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Hi
As clean as it gets, the AMBUSH x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Hi is painted in an all-white colourway. Created by South Korean fashion designer Yoon Ahn, the high top silhouette is inspired by vintage military winter boots Converse used to produce for the US military. This influence can be seen via the Chuck Taylor's rugged rubber construction, as well as black text across the upper which offers a deconstructed aesthetic.
COMME des GARÇONS x Air Jordan 1
Completely reworking the Air Jordan 1 Retro High, the COMME des GARÇONS x Air Jordan 1 boasts a motorcycle boot aesthetic complete with silver studs, an exaggerated ankle strap, and an extended tongue height that fits the punk aesthetic purveyed by the Japanese fashion house. Unveiled in all-white and all-black colourways, it's not entirely clear whether or not these will get a public release.
Virgil Abloh x Louis Vuitton Sneaker Boot
To finish off, the Virgil Abloh x Louis Vuitton Sneaker Boot is a game changer. Infused with fibre optic technology, two tiny LED screens feature on the tongues, while light up side panel and midsole detailing create a rainbow-like effect. An ankle strap works alongside the conventional lacing system for the ultimate lockdown fit, and technical verbiage features throughout, showcasing Abloh's signature deconstructed touch.
